My Sister
by Karillys Peralta
Gray eyes and pretty face,
kind and nasty girl,
smart and caring sister,
bad and rude girl,
and lovable and selfish,
My sister
Shooting Star
by Kathleen A. Mojica
Look, a shooting star!
A shooting star to me is like a beautiful diamond
flying acroos the starry night sky.
A shooting star to me is like a kite flying
freely with a tail of mist following it.
That's how I look at a shooting star.
When I Think Of You
by Laysha Duran
When I think of you
I shudder.
When I think of you
my mind goes crazy.
When I think of you
my heart starts to pound.
When I look at you
I blush a reddish color.
Poetry Hides
by Monique Selmo
Poetry hides
In a closet and screams of
babies.
In computers and in our
clothes.
In our bodies and in our souls.
Poetry Hides
In books and in our
television.
In our hearts and lungs.
In our houses and in our
minds.
Poetry Hides
In our neighborhood and
feet.
In our family pictures and
hands.
Poetry Hides
In different places and
In beautiful outer space.
